Junior Challenge (5 and 6 year olds)

To prepare the next generation of Warriors for the competition that lies ahead we present the Junior Challenge! With no pressure put on performance, this challenge
allows Ninjas to see their strengths and what they have to work on in a fun and friendly environment that puts their skills to the test. is will be a great way to see how ready your ninjas are to take the next step on the Warrior’s Journey to Greatness!


This is the first USAIGC Ninja Athletic Warrior Competition! Athletes compete in four different areas that will put all of the skills they have learned to the test. Athletes will receive points for the highest level of skill performed at each event.
All the athletes will receive a medal for participating in the competition! ere will be three age divisions 7-8 year olds, 9-10 year olds, and 11 years old and up! e top 3 of each age group will receive a medal.

Your athlete will take on a series of different obstacles and challenges compiling the several different components in our Ninja Athletic Warrior Program. ey will be tested on their balance, strength, tumbling skills, and all of the ninja obsta- cles that we practice in class.

The competition will break down into four different events:

  1. Balance-Athletes will take on the balance beam, barrel roll and slack line in the ultimate test of balance

  2. Vaulting and Tumbling- Athletes will show off their best acrobatic and fluid movements to earn points

  3. Strength- Athletes will be pushed to their physical limits undertaking a variety of bodyweight exercises.

  4. Stage Performance- Athletes will take on various obstacles in increasing difficulty trying to complete each one toearn points (If you fall or don’t complete an obstacle simply move on to the next one, THERE IS NO ELIMINATION!)
